From assessment to operation

How it works

End-to-end engineering: a single technical lead from sizing to installation, with ongoing support by Frio Ideal, a group company.

One cycle, one group

Every project goes through the same five stages within the same group: Smart Cold leads assessment, design, manufacturing, and installation; Frio Ideal, a group company and the sole authorized provider, leads maintenance. You don't coordinate three different suppliers.

  1. Assessment and sizing

We map the thermal load, the available space, and the operation's routine. Sizing is done by engineering, based on the project's real profile, not from a catalog.

  2. Custom design

We define equipment, compressors, and controls for your operation's exact profile, with a focus on energy efficiency and reliability.

  3. In-house manufacturing

We build the equipment in-house, using compressors from established manufacturers like Bitzer and Dorin.

  4. Installation and commissioning

The same team that sized and designed the system installs it and brings it online, ensuring continuity.

  5. Maintenance and monitoring

Preventive and corrective maintenance plus ongoing support, provided by Frio Ideal, a group company and the sole provider authorized to maintain Smart Cold equipment. Monitoring stays within the same group throughout the entire cycle.

Frequently asked questions

What are the stages of a project with Smart Cold?

From assessment to delivery, you deal with a single technical lead.

How does Smart Cold size the equipment?

By engineering, based on the project's real profile, not from a catalog. The team maps the thermal load, the available space, and the operation's routine, and defines equipment, compressors, and controls for the operation's exact profile, with a focus on energy efficiency and reliability.
